Disney FAMA Approved Factory — Compliance, Audits & Certifications

Triumph Gifts holds Disney FAMA (Facility and Merchandise Authorization), ISO 9001 quality management certification and Sedex registration for social compliance. For buyers sourcing promotional products, these three documents answer the question that matters most: will this factory pass my brand's vendor approval process?

  • BSCI — amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative, available for EU buyers
  • CPSIA — US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, with third-party testing
  • EN71-3 — EU toy safety migration of certain elements
  • REACH and California Prop 65 — chemical compliance documentation on request

How to Read a Supplier’s Compliance Claims

Three checks separate real documentation from marketing copy. First, ask for the certificate number and the issuing body — then verify directly with that body. Second, check that the audited address matches the production address; many suppliers present a certificate for one site and manufacture at another. Third, ask for the audit date, because FAMA and Sedex require yearly renewal and an expired document is worthless.

Our factory verification checklist walks through all eight checks including business licence validation and production video review.

Why FAMA Matters Beyond Disney Orders

Even if you never produce licensed Disney merchandise, holding FAMA signals that the facility has passed one of the strictest social compliance programmes in the industry. It covers labour hours, wage records, fire safety, environmental permits and subcontracting disclosure. For US and EU corporate buyers with vendor-compliance requirements, it removes a large part of the due diligence burden.

Documentation We Provide With Every Order

On request we issue: certificate copies with numbers and validity dates, third-party test reports from SGS or Intertek, material declarations, country-of-origin statements, and a pre-shipment AQL 2.5 inspection report with photographs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your test reports from accredited labs?

Yes — SGS, Intertek and TÜV, all ISO 17025 accredited.

Do you use subcontractors?

Only for specialised plating and heat treatment, and we disclose every subcontractor in the compliance pack. Core production is in-house.
